    3D Capture Systems

    Dimensional Imaging’s standard DI3D™ FCS-100 system is designed specifically to capture high definition 3D surface images of the human face. It uses four 10 megapixel cameras to produce 3D facial surface images with highly detailed 20 megapixel surface texture maps.

    The DI3D™ FCS-100 includes DI3Dcapture™ and DI3Dview™ to capture, manage and present 3D facial surface data.

    Each system is easily dismounted and stored in a robust wheeled shipping case and comes complete with tripod, background and calibration target. A laptop and stand are optional items.

     
  • DI3D™ Custom 3D Capture Systems.

    3D Systems

    Dimensional Imaging’s DI3D™ Custom 3D Capture Systems use standard digital stills cameras and normal photographic flash illumination to multiple stereo pairs of images of a subject simultaneously.

    Custom DI3D™ 3D Capture Systems with up to 32 cameras with a resolution of up to 21 megapixels are available to capture larger or more complex volumes with incredible levels of detail and image quality.

     
  • High Resolution 3D Images

    DI3D™ High Resolution Images

    By using standard digital stills cameras and normal flash illumination, DI3D™ produces the highest definition and best photographic quality 3D surface images available.

    DI3Dview™ has been designed specifically to display and allow interaction with DI3D™ 3D surface images whist retaining the full resolution of the capured images. This results in the 3D models being displayed with breathtakingly high resolution images.

    DI3D™ Instantaneous Capture

    DI3D™ uses passive stereo photogrammetry to simultaneously capture 3D shape and appearance in a single instantaneous flash.

    Instantaneous capture makes it easy to capture facial expressions, or subjects, such as children, that find it difficult to stay still.

    DI3D™ Efficient Workflow

    The true photographic quality of DI3D™ 3D surface images makes it unnecessary to take separate 2D photographic images.

    DI3D™ Powerful Applications

    A range of optional plug-ins for DI3Dview™ such as DI3Danalysis™ & DI3Dtransfer™ provide an extensive set of data analysis and manipulation tools.

    DI3D™ data can also be exported automatically to the most common industry standard 3D file formats for use in a range of powerful 3rd party software applications.
